CONFERENCE GRANTS

Grants are available to help defray the cost of registration, travel, and accommodation. They are awarded based on the completion and evaluation of the conference grant application form, which is due by March 1, 2024

All grant recipients must book their own travel and hotel arrangements. 

If you are unable to use your conference grant, you must notify GACI Global at info@gaciglobal.org before the conference; otherwise, you may be ineligible to receive a grant in the future.

The grant application period has concluded, and all applicants have been notified of their grant awards.

IMPORTANT DATES & DEADLINES

  • March 1st, 2024 – Closing date for medical appointment requests and conference grant applications.
  • March 15th, 2024 – Conference grant recipients notified.
  • June 15th, 2024 – Deadline for conference registration and registration fees due.
  • August 9th, 2024 – Medical appointments at Johns Hopkins Hospital
  • August 9th-11th, 2024 – Conference Dates

HOTEL DETAILS

The 2024 conference will take place at the beautiful Hyatt Place Baltimore Inner Harbor.

Conference attendees, including conference grant recipients,  must book and pay for their own rooms directly with the hotel.  Breakfast is included in the room rate and rooms hold up to 5 people.

Valet parking is available for $35 per night.

The nearest airport to Baltimore is BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport (10.4miles)

CONFERENCE VOLUNTEERS

We are looking for volunteers to be a part of the planning committee for the conference. Please get in touch if you are interested in helping us make this our best event yet!

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION FEES

$100 for adults and $25 for children under 18.

The registration fee covers admission to all conference events – Friday evening meet & greet activity; Saturday scientific session, lunch, and snacks; and Sunday aquarium visit and celebration dinner.

Registration fees are due by June 15th, 2024.  Registration fees are included as part of the grant for the immediate family members of conference grant recipients.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY

Refunds of registration fees will be provided until June 30, 2024.  After this date, no refunds can be offered.
